Background South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking preliminary market engagement to identify suppliers capable of providing preventative maintenance, servicing, repair, refurbishment, spare parts support and lifecycle management services for its portfolio of clinical training manikins and simulation equipment located across the South West. The Trust is seeking information from suitably experienced organisations to better understand market capability, service models and indicative pricing structures in advance of any future procurement exercise. This notice does not constitute a call for competition and no contract will be awarded as a result of this market engagement exercise. Scope of Requirement The Trust currently operates a significant estate of clinical training manikins and simulation equipment, primarily manufactured by Laerdal Medical and Limbs & Things. The approximate equipment portfolio includes: Equipment Type- Approximate Quantity Resusci Anne QCPR / Little Anne QCPR - 44 Resusci Junior QCPR / Little Junior QCPR - 34 Resusci Baby QCPR - 40 Airway Management Trainer - 25 Multi-Venous IV Training Arms - 23 PROMPT Flex Birthing Simulators - 17 Pneumothorax Trainers - 4 The portfolio may increase or decrease during the life of any future contract. Service Requirements Under Consideration The Trust is interested in understanding supplier capability to provide: Preventative maintenance programmes. Planned servicing. Inspection and condition assessments. Repair and refurbishment services. Replacement components and consumables. Collection and return logistics. Mobile engineer/site visit support. Technical diagnostics and fault finding. Annual service reporting. Asset condition reporting. Lifecycle planning and replacement recommendations. Support for future purchases and newly acquired equipment. Integration with asset management systems where available. Calibration, testing and certification services (where applicable).
