Hiervoor worden vleermuizen gezenderd en gevolgd via het MOTUS-netwerk, aangevuld met DNA-onderzoek. De resultaten moeten bijdragen aan een betere beoordeling van de effecten van windparken op zee op populatieniveau. Daarnaast moeten de gegevens inzicht geven in vliegroutes, vlieghoogtes en trekmomenten, zodat mitigerende maatregelen, zoals het tijdelijk stilzetten van windturbines, effectiever kunnen worden ingezet.
