Description

Council is inviting offers from suitably qualified Respondents to purchase and develop the balance of the property located at 45 Burrum Street, Bundaberg West, via tender. Property Council is the owner of the freehold parcel, described as Lot 4 on SP270831 known as 45 Burrum Street, Bundaberg West, Queensland, Australia, 4670 (‘Property’). The site is bounded by Civic Avenue, Burrum Street, Pyefinch Boulevard and Saltwater Creek, and has an area of 7.0895 hectares, in its current form. The Property is the remains of the former Bundaberg Showgrounds, and currently has minimal physical infrastructure on the site, but does include the remaining Bailey Gate which is a Local Heritage Place in the Bundaberg Regional Council Planning Scheme 2015. The northern portion of the site is currently occupied by the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia (‘CMCA’) under a lease agreement to operate a caravan park for their members.
