Introduction ? The National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) is the state institution with the exclusive right to organize, direct, and develop higher education in the country. ? The UNAH Postgraduate Studies System regulates and promotes this educational level to comply with current academic guidelines. ? The Faculty of Legal Sciences, through its General Coordination of Postgraduate Studies and the Coordination of the Master's Degree in Commercial Law, promotes the redesign of its study plans. ? These ToR establish the conditions for hiring a specialist to develop the Diagnostic Research Project, the Diagnosis, the Study Plan, and the Feasibility Plan for the Master's Degree in Commercial Law. II. General objective of the contract ? To develop the documents corresponding to the Research Project, the Diagnosis, the Redesign of the Study Plan, and the Feasibility Plan for the Master's Degree in Commercial Law program. ? To work in close collaboration with the Curriculum Development Subcommittee appointed by the Faculty of Legal Sciences to promote this project. III. Main functions of the consultant The consultant shall prepare the final version of three major components, ensuring that all have the validation of the Curriculum Development Subcommittee of the Faculty of Legal Sciences and comply with UNAH regulations and the Directorate of Higher Education: 1. Development of the Research Project and the Diagnosis: ? Diagnostic Research Project: Develop the project that will underpin the curricular redesign and the feasibility plan. This must meet the requirements of a top-level postgraduate program and include at least: research problem statement, justification, theoretical foundation, research objectives, methodology, timeline, resources, and references. ? Diagnosis Document: Based on the research, structure the diagnostic document including cover page, table of contents, general data, introduction, situational contextualization of Honduras, and institutional contextualization. ? Research Results: Present an articulated analysis of quantitative and qualitative results on real and potential demand based on the opinions of society, employers, experts, and students. ? Curricular Analysis: Identify research lines, quantify graduate professionals, and map learning outcomes according to the Qualifications Framework. ? Impact and Market: Analyze the labor market insertion and the significant contribution of graduates to Honduran society. ? Benchmarking: Conduct an analysis of international trends comparing at least 8 universities with a ranking higher than UNAH or macro-universities in Latin America. ? Appendices: Integrate the original research project, conclusions, recommendations, applied instruments, and graphic evidence of the research process. 2. Redesign of the Study Plan: ? Define pedagogical, scientific, linkage, and research parameters. ? Develop minimum descriptions of learning spaces (Syllabus or Synthetic Programs) and their curricular content. ? Establish entry and exit profiles, and graduation requirements in accordance with the Academic Regulations and the General Regulations of the SEP. ? Structure the plan including objectives, subjects (compulsory, general, specific, elective), distribution by semester, flowchart, and operational credit table. ? Integrate the transversal axes of the UNAH Educational Model and the components of internationalization and academic mobility. 3. Development of the Feasibility Plan: ? Detail the strategic plan for the implementation of the master's degree, along with justified timelines and budgets. ? Present an administrative and financial management plan, as well as a complete feasibility analysis. ? Identify the required human resources through a matrix of academic profiles (professors and administrative staff) with their resumes. ? Present an inventory of installed and required physical capacities, as well as library and technological resources and graphic evidence thereof. IV. Modality ? The consultant will work based on the delivery of products. ? Products must be reviewed and approved by the Curricular Subcommittee, and then forwarded with formal communication by the Dean's Office for payment processing. V. Deliverable Products ? Product 0: Detailed work schedule for the development of all products. ? Product 1: Final document of the Research Project and Diagnosis for the redesign of the Master's Degree in Commercial Law. ? Product 2: Final document of the Redesign of the Study Plan for the Master's Degree in Commercial Law. ? Product 3: Final document of the Feasibility Plan for the Master's Degree in Commercial Law. ? Note: All products must have written academic validation from the Curriculum Development Subcommittee as a requirement for disbursement. VI. Consultant Profile ? University professional with a master's degree in Legal Sciences or areas related to education and curriculum design. ? Proven experience in teaching, development of curricular designs, university feasibility plans, and scientific research. ? Mastery of UNAH academic regulations (Academic Regulations, SEP Regulations, Educational Model, VRA Guides). ?
