Procurement of Body Scanner (Debrecen Airport)

This tender concerns the procurement of one (1) body scanner for Debrecen Airport, to be acquired through a purchase agreement. The primary purpose of the body scanner is to significantly enhance the efficiency of security checks at the airport. The device is designed to quickly and accurately detect concealed dangerous items such as weapons, explosives, narcotics, cigarettes, and other excise goods, thereby reducing screening times and improving overall security. Its open-design facilitates communication between the operator and the individual being screened, increasing the transparency of the inspection process. The scanner provides immediate results by indicating the location of detected items, enabling rapid response and decision-making.

In addition to the supply of the product, the tender also includes a 72-hour trial run to be conducted within 30 days of product handover, as well as operator training for 30 individuals. In accordance with Section 46 (3) of Government Decree 321/2015 (X.30.), the contracting authority emphasizes that any reference to specific manufacturers, origins, types, processes, activities, persons, patents, or trademarks within the tender documents is for the sole purpose of clearly defining the subject matter. Equivalent products will be accepted. Bidders proposing equivalent products must provide justification for their equivalence in their offer. The contracting authority will assess compliance with the specified technical parameters based on the documents submitted in the technical proposal.
