TGA planning services

The subject of the procurement procedure is TGA planning services. The construction project at the Gesundheitscampus Köln-Merheim consists in particular of the construction of a new building complex, which in turn consists of two units. Details can be found in the tender documents. The TGA planner will be responsible for the planning of all technical system groups with the exception of special medical technology. As a special service, the TGA planner will undertake energy consulting and the creation of a holistic energy concept for the Gesundheitscampus, including any intermediate and interim states during the execution of the construction project subject to the contract or in preparation for it. The preliminary design of the Gesundheitscampus and the conditions of the funding approval must be taken into account as the basis for service provision. Upon award of the contract, the services of service stage 1 will initially be commissioned, i.e., the services for basic determination, preliminary design, design, and approval planning for the services of utility line relocation, children's hospital, and extension building. Service energy concept is also part of stage 1. The client is entitled to commission the further services of "Stage 2", i.e., execution planning, tender preparation, site supervision, and site support, in whole or in part through separate subsequent commissions. The background for this phased transfer is that the transfer of further planning services to construction companies is being considered; furthermore, delays in the project schedule that cannot currently be foreseen are to be taken into account.
