Description

This a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight of the 5 December 2025.

The service delivers a comprehensive Health Visiting programme across the entirety of Kent County Council’s area. It is designed to meet the statutory requirements set out in the Healthy Child Programme, ensuring that all eligible children and their families receive appropriate support and interventions. The approach is evidence-based and guided by the Kent Public Health 0-4 Health Needs Assessment, which identifies local priorities and informs service delivery. This includes universal health reviews, targeted support for families with additional needs, and collaborative working with other health and social care partners to promote optimal child development, health, and wellbeing.

-An assessment of whether the provider is likely to continue to do a good job against the new contract

The due diligence carried out under the Basic Selection Criteria determined that the organisation meets all necessary requirements and is considered suitable for selection.
In assessment against whether the provider is doing a good job against the existing contract, the five key criteria were assessed with the associated weightings below. The assessment deemed the provider was undertaking a Good service against the key criteria.
