INFORMATION REQUEST: CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION, AND MEASUREMENT ARRANGEMENTS FOR AUTOMATED VEHICLES. This notice is not a prior information notice, procurement notice, or request for proposals, but an information request/market dialogue to be conducted as part of the preparation for a future procurement. This information request does not solicit proposals. The information presented in this notice is preliminary and indicative. The objective of this information request is to survey the market concerning the subject of procurement and to obtain comprehensive information about the subject of procurement so that the procurement can be carried out in an appropriate manner. Through this market survey, VTT is seeking service providers for the maintenance of automated vehicle research and development infrastructure, as well as for tasks supporting vehicle manufacturing, installation, electrical systems, and measurements. Research activities require knowledge of automotive and vehicle technology, understanding of sensor operating principles, systematic measurement expertise with modern tools, and driving licenses for motorcycles, cars, trucks, and buses. The activities also require experience in operating machine tools and the ability to build fixtures and actuators for vehicles. Furthermore, creativity is needed in building prototypes without ready-made drawings or wiring diagrams, directly utilizing component datasheets. Additionally, research is conducted in water transport, so qualifications for operating a registered boat are necessary. Subject of Procurement: The subject of the procurement described in the information request is the construction, processing, and installation of prototypes of components related to automated vehicles into vehicles. The service also includes assisting in measurements and managing measurement arrangements, particularly in the Muonio, Kittilä, and Kolari regions. Key requirements include qualifications for making electrical connections in electric vehicles, as well as vehicle fleet maintenance, servicing, safety operation of autonomous vehicles, and inspections. The following requirements apply to service production and the personnel performing the service: a) Possesses high-voltage installation permits.
