Als toezichthouder bouw/omgevingswet ben je goed in het omgaan met tegenstrijdige belangen en heb je affiniteit met de omgevingskwaliteit. Je beschikt over sterk bewakende en sociale vaardigheden. In deze functie sta je stevig in je schoenen. Toezichthouders maken deel uit van het team Toezicht Handhaving Veiligheid & Zorg (THV&Z). Je bewaakt de verleende vergunningen, met name voor de activiteiten bouwen, slopen en de Omgevingswet. Je handhaaft op illegale activiteiten binnen de fysieke leefomgeving en voert controles uit op de naleving van wet- regelgeving binnen de kaders van de Omgevingswet en Besluit Bouwwerken Leefomgeving (BBL). Het rapporteren over afwijkingen en het verzorgen van de eerste aanschrijvingen vallen onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid, evenals de administratieve procedurele afhandeling in ons zaaksysteem. Je bent vaak het aanspreekpunt voor inwoners die overlast ervaren of klachten hebben over hun omgeving.
