Turku City basic IT services

Turku City's group administration's procurement services requested participation applications for a competitive negotiation procedure, the aim of which is to renew Turku City's basic IT services for the period 1.4.2026 (target) – 31.3.2031, after which the contract will continue indefinitely. The primary and preliminary scope of the procurement is described in the attachment "Project Description" to the participation request. The procurement also includes a business transfer, which is described in the aforementioned attachment. The scope of services and functionalities subject to the tender may change during negotiations, and some services and functionalities may also be tendered separately if the Client deems it appropriate. The Client does not wish to limit the implementation options or technologies at the beginning of the competitive negotiation procedure. The Client wants to give all suppliers participating in the negotiation procedure the opportunity to offer the best solutions to achieve the Client's goals. The Client is seeking a single main responsible supplier model. For clarity, it should be noted that the future procurement concerns only the Client's (City of Turku) IT services. For example, surrounding municipalities or limited liability companies owned by the Client are not included in the tender. One (1) main responsible supplier will be selected. The overall scope will be clarified as negotiations progress.
