Ordregiver driver et kraftvarmeværk beliggende på Skansevej 2, 3700 Rønne. Anlægget producerer el og varme, primært baseret på biomasse i normal drift. For at styrke elektrificeringen af varmeproduktionen og understøtte den overordnede målsætning om at udfase fossile brændsler i normal drift senest i 2027, ønsker Ordregiver at etablere en elkedel til produktion af hjælpedamp som erstatning for den nuværende oliefyrede løsning.
