Tender for contract for replacement, assembly, installation and commissioning of impulse fans and lighting in the railway tunnel on the Great Belt Link

This tender concerns a contract for the replacement, installation, and commissioning of jet fans and lighting systems within the railway tunnel of the Great Belt Fixed Link. The scope of work includes the replacement of 160 jet fans, along with associated signal exchange, in the main tunnels. Additionally, the lighting systems in the main tunnels, cross-tunnels, and technical rooms will be replaced. This also involves the dismantling and disposal of the existing jet fans. Specifically, 80 jet fans are to be replaced in each tunnel tube. The new fans themselves will be supplied as a separate goods delivery under a different contract. The replacement of fans will be a one-to-one substitution in terms of quantity and location. For the main tunnel lighting, existing luminaire housings will be reused, with only the light source inserts being replaced. In the cross-tunnels and technical rooms, entire luminaires will be replaced. The contractor will also be responsible for project management, design, supply of cables and spare parts, logistics, modifications to existing installations, connection, testing, commissioning, and documentation. The installation work is primarily to be carried out during scheduled closures of the tunnel to train traffic. The contract also includes the procurement of spare parts and additional services (hourly work). Due to the very limited tunnel closure periods, strict timeframes are defined for the execution of installation work, as detailed in the contract and appendix 2. This necessitates high demands on planning, staffing capacity, and equipment during these closures. To enhance installation efficiency for the fans, a test setup of one fan will be conducted in 2026, with the remaining fans to be installed in 2027. Furthermore, the contractor must possess a DS21001 Railway Safety Management System approved by BaneDanmark prior to commencing the works.
