Udlændingestyrelsen skal købe biometriske adgangskort til brug for registrering af en beboer på et udrejsecenters overholdelse af opholds- og/eller meldepligt. Adgangskortene skal indeholde beboerens fingeraftryk i krypteret form, og adgangskortene må kun kunne benyttes af beboeren, hvis biometri er optaget på adgangskortet.
