Tender for framework agreement regarding Technical preliminary studies, environmental assessment, consulting and assistance in connection with urban development of New City Districts in Nordhavn

By & Havn has entered into a framework agreement regarding the tender for a framework agreement concerning technical preliminary studies, environmental assessment, consulting and assistance in connection with the urban development of New City Districts in Nordhavn. By & Havn is to initiate the urban development of the next phases in Nordhavn, specifically areas in outer Nordhavn, north of Skudeløbet and Skudehavnen, covering a total of approximately 74 hectares. The upcoming urban development involves a phased planning for a total of approximately 900,000 sqm of mixed-use development, expected to be developed by 2040. The urban development of the next areas in outer Nordhavn is a continuation of the development and transformation that has taken place in inner Nordhavn since 2008, and which is still ongoing. The first local plans for the next phases in outer Nordhavn are expected to be adopted in 2029. The main objective of the urban development in Nordhavn is to realize good city districts where residents and businesses thrive and where we share space, infrastructure, and attractions. The new city districts in Nordhavn are to be developed in continuation of the districts that are either established or under development in Nordhavn today, and they are to be certified to DGNB Platinum for urban areas, meaning sustainability and, among other things, the DGNB methodology must be considered from the start in all project stages. The tendered task concerns technical consulting and assistance: • regarding the preparation of preliminary studies in connection with the urban development of new city districts in Nordhavn. • in connection with the technical qualification of the master plan for sub-area A and the qualification of the disposition proposal for sub-area B. • in connection with the preparation of material for local plans and environmental assessments. • preparation of environmental assessment. At present, the following sub-tasks/technical focus areas have been identified, but new sub-tasks may arise that will also need to be addressed under the Framework Agreement. The sub-tasks are detailed below. • Supply strategy • Soil investigations (contamination and geotechnics) • Soil management strategy • Climate adaptation/cloudburst, groundwater and rainwater report, and resilience to climate change • Framework for landscape canal in outer Nordhavn • Nature registration (§3 and Annex IV) and biodiversity potentials • Environmental mapping of surrounding businesses (regarding air, odor, dust, and other pollution/risk) • Noise analysis (business, traffic, and railway) • Traffic and infrastructure (preliminary report) • Environmental assessment of local plan • Environmental screening and environmental mapping of existing construction prior to potential demolition By & Havn wishes to enter into the Framework Agreement with one supplier for technical preliminary studies, consulting, and assistance in connection with the urban development of New City Districts in Nordhavn.
