Tender for the purchase of City Trailers

DRS collects deposit-bearing beverage packaging throughout Denmark from grocery stores and other return points. For collection, DRS uses City Trailers, which are pulled by semi-trailer tractors and are part of DRS's daily collection setup. The City Trailers are used to collect and exchange full load carriers at the return points, which are subsequently transported to one of DRS's factories in Denmark for further handling and processing. The City Trailers are central to DRS's daily operations, as they are part of DRS's daily task execution and contribute to DRS's full-service solution for return points. DRS includes an electric stacker in the City Trailer, so that DRS drivers can pick up full load carriers themselves and deliver an equivalent number of empty load carriers to the return point. The City Trailers shall generally consist of a chassis, cargo box, top lid, and lift, as well as other necessary equipment, including solutions that support the daily pickup and exchange of load carriers at return points. A City Trailer is in operation for almost 300 days a year, with at least 12 hours of operation per day. The tender concerns the purchase of seven new City Trailers for DRS, which will replace DRS's existing solution. The purchase is divided as follows: four units of 33-pallet City Trailers and three units of 27-pallet City Trailers. Additionally, there is an option to purchase two more 33-pallet City Trailers.
