Description

The procuring entity intends to apply a part of financing allocated under the Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Programme (UMIP) to eligible payments to a qualified contractor under the contract for the Rehabilitation of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Lutsk. The Contractor’s scope of work includes Design (stages “P” and “R”) for the reconstruction of the biological treatment unit at the existing wastewater treatment plant in Lutsk, with a design inlet capacity of 2,500 m³/h (maximum wastewater flow during rainy periods) and 1,850 m³/h (wastewater flow during dry weather), which includes the facilities listed below; Conducting all necessary engineering surveys, including topographic and geodetic, engineering-geological, and geotechnical studies; determining the location of existing underground and aboveground utility networks and structures; conducting soil investigations; inspection of the technical condition of existing structures to the extent necessary to optimize design solutions, obtain the necessary approvals and permits, and ensure the successful implementation of the project. Performing construction work to reconstruct the biological treatment unit facilities, including, but not limited to: reconstruction of the wastewater distribution chambers upstream of the aeration tanks; construction of a new phosphorus removal plant; construction of aeration tanks (biological reactors) with a mixing and aeration system, including blowers, air ducts, and an air distribution system; reconstruction of secondary clarifiers and distribution chambers; construction of a new disinfection plant for treated wastewater; construction of a new automated sampling and flow measurement station; reconstruction of the excess activated sludge pumping station located in the air blower station building; construction of a pipeline above.
