Aufgrund geänderter Anforderungen innerhalb des Unternehmens wurde der aktuelle Bedarf der Kantinenversorgung in der Eschenstraße neu ermittelt. Eine externe Untersuchung hat eine kapazitive Vergrößerung und Neuausrichtung mit einhergehender Modernisierung der Kantinenversorgung ergeben. Der AG beabsichtigt daher, das bestehende Betriebsrestaurant und den Küchenbereich kurzfristig zu erweitern und umzubauen. Die neue Kantine mit Gastraum und Küchenbereich wird am selben Standort des bestehenden Betriebsrestaurants geplant, so dass hier von einer Vollsanierung (nach vorausgegenagener Entkernung) der hierzu gehörenden Gebäudebereiche auszugehen ist . Neben der neuen Anordnung des Küchenbereichs, ist die Erweiterung des Gastraums um ca. 103 m² geplant, wodurch die Anzahl der Sitzplätze von ca. 90 auf 135 Gäste erhöht wird und die Gesamtfäche ca. 272 m² erreicht. Es ist geplant, das pro Tag 2 x 130 Essen, in Summe 260 Essen, ausgegeben werden.
