Agency: UNOPS | Reference: UNOPS/FO/2026/54 | Type: Grant support-call for proposal The Santiago Network Secretariat is issuing this call for proposals to catalyze technical assistance from organizations, bodies, networks, and experts (OBNEs) in response to a request from Nepal.This technical assistance will support the Government of Nepal in developing a comprehensive, nationally prioritized Strategic Plan for Climate-Induced Loss and Damage and GLOF risk management. By contributing to Nepal’s efforts to build a unified national framework, the technical assistance aims to strengthen national systems for loss and damage assessment, enhance methodologies and data collection processes, improve institutional coordination, and support the development of a government-endorsed Strategic Plan. Ultimately, this support fosters a more inclusive, data-informed national response, enabling Nepal to protect vulnerable communities, safeguard critical infrastructure and reduce future risks.All proposals must be submitted via the UNOPS grant management platform Grant+Members of the Santiago Network are eligible to respond to this call for proposals. Interested OBNEs that are not yet Members of the Santiago Network may submit proposals, provided they submit an Expression of Interest for membership in line with the membership guidelines within the deadline of this call. Any OBNE selected to respond to the call for proposals must have also been confirmed as a Member of the Santiago Network prior to their selection.
