A general contractor contract is being tendered for all planning and construction services for the renovation of a cantonal road, including hydraulic engineering works, civil engineering structures, drainage, retaining structures, pipelines, and temporary facilities over the entire project perimeter. Planning services: The contract includes all engineering and construction management services for SIA phases 51-53 as basic services according to SIA 103 (Overall management and specialist planning, excluding site supervision). This includes in particular: Execution planning, schedule and construction process planning, planning of all temporary facilities, traffic management, safety and construction support measures, quality assurance, testing and control planning, coordination of all stakeholders and specialist planners, construction management including cost, quality, and schedule control. The services must be provided in compliance with the requirements of the Aargau Canton's Project Manual for Engineers (PHI). The site supervision, which is commissioned separately by the client, does not release the general contractor from its tasks and obligations as construction manager. Realization services: The realization services include all construction work for the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality completion of the structure in accordance with the approved execution documents and the bill of quantities. This includes in particular: Implementation of all measures, including temporary facilities, safety and construction support measures, compliance with all laws, standards, and regulations. Ensuring occupational safety and health protection, compliance with collective labor agreement provisions.   Scope of work Road and civil engineering structures: Renovation of the entire road structure over approx. 650 m length and 6.00 m or 6.50 m width in IO or AO respectively. Renovation of the road drainage. Installation of a PE 120 utility pipe with new cable manholes. Construction and renovation of sidewalks on both sides with widths between 1.50 and 2.00 m in IO. Barrier-free development of two bus stops including a crossing aid. Construction and renovation of a parking lot. New construction of an approx. 600 m long and 2.50 m wide cycle path. Demolition and new construction of retaining walls around the municipal parking lot. Planning and widening of an existing bridge at km 0+342 by 1.50 m. Planning and construction of an amphibian guidance system. Planning and construction of fall protection on the bridges over the Arnerbach. Hydraulic engineering: Restoration of the Arnerbach over a length of approx. 200 m with earthworks. Construction of a deep water basin and creation of structural elements. Flood protection of the Arnerbach with earthworks, stone block walls, and structural elements. Pipelines: New construction of the drinking water pipeline within the project perimeter. New construction of the street lighting. Execution of the electricity supply. New construction of a clean water pipeline. Renovation of the wastewater pipeline. Other services: Execution of all masonry works. Planning, design, and coordination of all traffic management and traffic control measures by the general contractor in close coordination with the traffic safety section of the ATB. The general contractor is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and realization of the measures within the defined project perimeter.
