Service of expert supervision and health and safety coordinator for the construction works of the Zelena oaza park

The subject of the procurement are the services of expert supervision and health and safety coordinator for the construction works of the Zelena oaza park. The "Zelena oaza Čakovca" project plans to establish new green infrastructure in the urban area of the City of Čakovec through the construction of a modern city park that will completely replace the existing, neglected, and unused area. The intervention will establish new green infrastructure that fully follows the provisions of the Green Infrastructure Development Program in Urban Areas 2021-2030, as well as the principles of the New European Bauhaus – sustainability, inclusivity, and aesthetic quality of space. The new park will be built in accordance with the prepared Main Project with amendments (URBIA ARH-09/2023-ID) and the obtained final building permit. The park named Zelena oaza Čakovca is conceived as green infrastructure, a space for quality outdoor recreation, education of the local population, and an area that contributes to mitigating the effects of climate change in Čakovec. At the same time, its significant area and diversity of content make the park a tourist attraction. A modern approach to park area design has been applied, i.e., modern principles of urban green space design that respect and improve urban biodiversity, contribute to the city's image, and enhance the livability of urban open space. The park as a whole covers more than 15 hectares and is divided into functional zones comprising: children's playgrounds with a cafe bar and public restrooms, parking lot, pump track (polygon/track for cyclists), exercise areas, orchard with picnic zone, water feature, multifunctional central building, square by the water feature with an executed bridge, amphitheater, open butterfly pavilion, St. Valentine's pavilion, dog park, and graffiti walls. The first phase involves the execution of essential infrastructural, construction, and horticultural works necessary for the functionality and usability of the space, which are the subject of this public procurement procedure, all according to the bill of quantities and project-technical documentation which is an annex to this Procurement Documentation.
