Anskaffelsens formål er utskiftning av seks eksisterende personheiser/sengeheiser fra 1978. Heisene er lokalisert i Sentralblokken ved Førde Sentralsjukehus. Heisene har stor trafikk fordelt over 9 etasjer med om lag 6-7000 heisbevegelser i løpet av et døgn. Heisene har en nyttelast på 1200 kg per heis og brukes av ansatte, pasienter og besøkende ved sykehuset. Samtlige heiser har 9 stopp med gjennomgående dører med unntak av plan 0, 1 og 2 med færre antall dører. Dagens heiser skal rives og det skal installeres nye heiser som monteres i eksisterende sjakter. Formålet med utskiftningen er å installere nye personheiser for person- og sengetransport som er tilpasset sykehusdriften. Tilbyder skal ta hensyn til døgnbemannet virksomhet ved prosjektering og utførelse. Utskiftningen skal gjennomføres trinnvis.
