Description

Original language: French

This tender, originating from France and sourced via TED, concerns an ecological diagnostic study for the 'Vallée et coteaux du Puits d'Enfer' (Puits d'Enfer Valley and hillsides). The objective is to conduct an 'Habitats-Faune-Flore' diagnostic, which translates to an assessment of habitats, fauna, and flora within the specified geographical area. This type of environmental consultancy service is typically required for land-use planning, conservation projects, environmental impact assessments, or regulatory compliance. The contracting authority is seeking qualified ecological consultants to survey and analyze the biodiversity and ecological status of the valley and its hillsides. Typical requirements include the development of a detailed study methodology, field surveys to identify and map habitats, inventorying of plant and animal species (including potentially protected or rare species), assessment of ecological connectivity, and the production of a comprehensive diagnostic report. The report should outline findings, identify ecological sensitivities, and may provide recommendations for conservation or management measures. Experience in similar ecological assessments and knowledge of French environmental regulations are usually essential.
