Suunnitelmamallin lisäksi suunnitelmia toteutetaan myös perinteisessä Konsultin tehtävänä on laatia liikennejärjestelmästä ja maanteistä säädetyn lain mukainen tiesuunnitelma valtatien 21 Ropinsalmen ja Ailakkalahden välille. Lisäksi konsultin suunnittelutehtävään sisältyy hankearvioinnin ja tiesuunnitelman hyväksymisesityksen tekeminen sekä suunnitteluperusteiden laatimisen. Tehtävään sisältyy tiesuunnitelma siinä laajuudessa kuin se tarjouspyyntöasiakirjoissa on määritelty kaikkine varusteineen ja laitteineen siinä laajuudessa kuin tarjouspyynnön liitteenä olevissa asiakirjoissa on määritelty. Lisäksi työ sisältää mm. seuraavien toimenpiteiden ja osatehtävien suunnittelun selvityksineen: - vuoropuhelun organisointi ja suorittaminen - tiesuunnitelma laaditaan tietomallintamalla voimassa olevien Väyläviraston ohjeiden mukaisesti - aineiston luovutus tilaajan arkistoon tehtävämäärittelyn mukaisesti Suoritettava palvelu ja sen sisältö on kokonaisuudessaan määritelty tarjouspyynnön liitteenä olevassa tehtävämäärityksessä.
