Vantaan kaupungin Kaupunkiympäristön toimiala vastaa mm. kestävän kaupunkikehityksen edistämisestä, julkisen kaupunkitilan suunnittelusta, rakentamisesta sekä kunnossapidosta, liikennesuunnittelusta, pysäköinninvalvonnasta sekä maanhankinnasta ja -luovutuksesta. Toimialalla olevaan Kadut ja puisto -palvelualueeseen kuuluu viisi palveluyksikköä: Suunnittelu, Rakentaminen, Kunnossapito, Luvat ja valvonta sekä Varikko.
