Washing service for citizens' private clothing

A complete solution is being tendered where the supplier is responsible for logistics, collecting laundry from the citizen or nursing home and delivering the freshly washed clothes back to the citizen's home address or nursing home. The supplier is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the laundry facility used. The solution must aim to accommodate the individual citizen's other fixed appointments when planning delivery and collection. It is important for Lolland Municipality that the municipality's employees can prioritize their primary tasks, and that the municipality's time spent on the service is therefore kept to a minimum. Lolland Municipality and the supplier shall, in cooperation, continuously adapt the solution as needed, so that there is constant focus on optimizing wasted time and resource consumption. As citizens may be added or leave on an ongoing basis, and as changes may occur regarding the nursing homes covered, the supplier must be prepared to continuously adapt the solution to the specific needs. Number of citizens at the time of material preparation: Voluntary citizens: As of May 2026, 119 citizens participate in the washing scheme in the voluntary area. In Lolland Municipality, there are a total of 280 nursing home places, all of which can potentially be included in the washing scheme. As of April 2026, 154 citizens from the nursing homes participate in the washing scheme. This corresponds to slightly more than half of the total 280 potential nursing home places. The number of citizens is subject to the reservation that 1) this is a snapshot at the time of extraction, and 2) it cannot be expected that all potential recipients of the service will choose the supplier's offer. The parties may therefore not subsequently make claims by reference to the number and geographical location.
