Original language: GermanIm Interdisziplinären Endoskopie Zentrum (IEZ) werden jährlich über 11.000 endoskopische Eingriffe durchgeführt. Diese Untersuchungen erfolgen in den sechs Räumen des Zentrums und mit drei mobilen Einheiten im Außeneinsatz auf den Intensivstationen, im OP oder den Notfalleingriffsräumen. Der aktuell geplante Gerätepark umfasst 18 Gastroskope (15 Altbestand), 10 Koloskope (7 Altbestand), 6 Duodenoskope (2 Altbestand), 9 Echoendoskope (5 Altbestand), 3 Bronchoskope und 1 Ballonenteroskop (Altbestand). Im Jahr 2025 wurden von den insgesamt 11400 Untersuchungen 1640 Eingriffe bei dringlicher Indikation oder Notfallsituation als Außeneinsätze durchgeführt. Bei diesen Einsätzen werden häufig auch mehrere Geräte benötigt. Die Kompatibilität von Prozessoren und Geräten zu jedem Zeitpunkt an jedem Ort erhöht die Flexibilität, sichert die zeitnahe Untersuchung und erhöht die Patientensicherheit. Darüber hinaus wird dadurch die Fehlerquote reduziert. Der flexible Einsatz der Geräte ist insbesondere wichtig, da der kalkulierte Gerätebestand am unteren Limit liegt, eine Verzögerung einer Untersuchung aufgrund fehlender Gerätekompatibilität wäre folglich mit einer Einschränkung der Patientensicherheit assoziiert.
