Vitos is the largest provider for the treatment of mentally ill people in Hesse. The company operates psychiatric, psychosomatic, and forensic-psychiatric clinics as well as facilities for psychiatric rehabilitation. The accompanying psychiatric services offer their services to chronically mentally ill people. In addition to its core task - the diagnosis and treatment of mentally ill people - Vitos also operates a neurological specialist clinic in Weilmünster, an orthopedic specialist clinic in Kassel, and facilities for youth and disability assistance throughout Hesse. Vitos is a company of the Landeswohlfahrtsverband (LWV) Hessen. The corporate group with headquarters in Kassel includes 18 non-profit companies. 12,200 employees generate an annual total revenue of one billion euros at 115 locations. They treat a total of 44,000 patients inpatient/partial inpatient and provide 300,000 outpatient treatments per year. The subject of the present procurement procedure is the conclusion of a framework agreement that regulates the regular testing of electrical equipment in accordance with DGUV V3. The services are to be provided in accordance with the specifications described in the tender documents. The service will be awarded in lots. During the term, individual orders can be placed by the eligible companies and the contracting authority. Direct contractual partners will be Vitos gGmbH and the bidder awarded the contract for the respective lot. For the consideration of the services provided to the eligible companies, the respective eligible company will be the direct debtor of the contractor. The contract has a term of 2 years. The contracting authority has the right to extend the contract by a further 2 years if it notifies the contractor in writing 6 months before the contract expires. The framework agreement ends prematurely for each lot as soon as the maximum quantity of equipment tests agreed for the respective lot has been reached. The estimated, but non-binding, order volume comprises approximately 110,000 electrical appliances at various locations in Hesse (see 02.1 Appendix 1 Location Directory). Of these, Lot 1 is expected to account for approximately 15,511 equipment tests. The lot-specific maximum quantity for Lot 1 is: 42,059 equipment tests.
