VKE 5564;Gotha Bypass - Mapping OU Gotha B7 Siebleben Mapping: Avifauna, Dormice, Bats, European Hamsters, Sand Lizards, Fish

The motorway, represented by DEGES (Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH), is planning the OU Gotha, which has been classified as a priority need in the Federal Trunk Road Demand Plan 2030. The planned OU extends within the town from the Hersdorfplatz transport hub along Friemarer Straße via Oststraße to the crossing of Bahnstraße Gotha-Leinefelde and the connection to Gleichenstraße. The area outside the town runs north of the Siebleben district, passes south of the clay and gravel pit area, until it connects to the existing Tüttleben bypass. Accompanying the planning also includes the expansion of a road-parallel cycle path in the direction of Tüttleben. The aim of the present planning task is to carry out comprehensive faunistic mapping and the mapping of biotope types as a basis for further environmental planning contributions at different planning levels (preliminary planning, draft planning, and approval planning). These primarily include the UVS/UVP report, species protection contribution, and LBP. A faunistic planning area analysis serves as the basis for carrying out the mapping, a mapping concept created by FöA GmbH. The mapping concept specifies which species are relevant for investigation in the planning area; in this case, it concerns the avifauna, dormice, bats, European hamsters, sand lizards, and fish that must be mapped in the investigation area and defines the investigation areas and the scope of the investigation.
