Description

Innerhalb des Landesbetriebs Daten und Information wird VMware vSphere seit vielen Jahren als Softwarelösung zur Virtualisierung von Systemen eingesetzt. Die beschafften Server Systeme, die Datensicherungs- und Speichersysteme sind auf eine Kompatibilität mit dieser Softwarelösung aus-gerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind entsprechend geschult und die Betriebsprozesse auf die gebotene Funktion angepasst. Ein Wechsel der Technologie, der ungeachtet aller zwingenden Rahmenbedingungen stets und auch aktuell weiter geprüft wird, wäre in einer absehbaren Betrachtungsperiode von wenigen Jahren nicht wirtschaftlich und teilweise auch technologisch nicht abbildbar, weshalb die vorliegende Ausschreibung hersteller- und produktbezogen erfolgt. Das Lizenzmodell von Redhat sieht Pakete für 4, 16 oder 64 Cores vor.
