Opdrachtgever: Gemeente Enschede
De gemeente Enschede heeft van de rijksoverheid een SPUK subsidie van circa 11 miljoen euro gekregen uit de 4e tranche van het Volkshuisvestingsfonds (VHF) voor het verbeteren van kwetsbare particuliere woningen in de wijk Twekkelerveld. Aangevuld met eigen middelen van de gemeente Enschede is er ruim 13,5 miljoen beschikbaar voor circa 300 woningen.
De gemeente bereidt een subsidieregeling voor die beschikbaar komt voor een specifieke doelgroep in de wijk. Voor de uitvoering van de werkzaamheden in de woningen zoekt de gemeente als opdrachtgever een opdrachtnemer.
