Als gemeente zijn we er voor mensen met geldproblemen. We bieden hen professionele ondersteuning bij ernstige schuldenproblematiek. Als consulent schuldhulpverlening speel je een belangrijke rol bij het voorkomen en verlenen van schuldhulp. Jij benadert en ondersteunt inwoners met (beginnende) betalingsachterstanden. Door tijdig in te grijpen en passende hulp te bieden voorkom je huisontruimingen, energie- en waterafsluitingen. Zo zorg je dat mensen vanuit hun eigen omgeving kunnen bouwen aan financieel herstel. Concreet ben je als consulent schuldhulpverlening bezig met: Het in kaart brengen van de financi?le situatie van inwoners;Binnen het kader van de Wet gemeentelijke schuldhulpverlening stel je plannen op;Je voert de regie over vervolgtrajecten en zorgt voor afstemming met alle partijen;Je hebt veel contact met inwoners, je geeft budgetadvies, voert coaching gesprekken en biedt evaluatie- en nazorgsessie;Je draagt zorg voor de dossiers en draagt deze over naar de gemeentelijke kredietbank 's-Hertogenbosch voor de schuldregelingsfase. Je maakt onderdeel uit van het team en kunt aanwijzingen en instructies krijgen over de wijze waarop de werkzaamheden moeten worden uitgevoerd.
