Agency: ICC | Reference: EOI 134406 | Type: Request for EOI It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Waste Management Services - In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.1.    IntroductionIt is the objective of this contract to provide the Court with a solid waste management and disposal solution.  This means the successful vendor will provide the Court with solutions for all waste related issues.1.1    General requirements•    The contractor will dispose of all waste in accordance with local law.•    An environmentally sound solution is required in which aspects of sustainability, separation, reuse and recycling are respected.•    The Court may require and may therefore request proof of correct disposal for its records. The contractor will cooperate and provide all required information.•    The contractor’s personnel and/or vehicles will be clearly marked or uniformed to indicate their firm.•    The contractor’s personnel is properly trained in the operation of their equipment and have access, on site, to any potentially necessary protective wear.•    The contractor will leave the exterior of the building where the containers are located in a clean and presentable condition.•    In the event of a default in performance, FMU will communicate the details of the default to the contractor in writing.  Three defaults in a period of three month (quarter year), may result in the revision of the contract.•    In case of a malfunction of the compactors, FMU will inform the contractor as soon as such default is observed. The contractor is obliged to resolve the default latest by the end (18:00 hrs.) of the working day that follows the day during which the contractor has been notified.•    The contractor may be asked to provide other standard waste management equipment items to the Court on a rental basis. This may include, but not limited to 660 L containers on wheels, and a battery operated tractor to tow these containers, in train, to the compactor and containers for chemical and glass waste.Please confirm whether your company satisfies the following requirements to be considered for invitation to the tender:1) Vendor must have active work presence in Zuid Holland, for similar works in size and scope - proof will be requested ___2) Vendor must have a track record of at least 5 years of waste management operations in the local market of the Netherlands - proof will be requested___3) Vendor will have to provide positive work references from at least 2 organizations with at least 300 staff per site (if multi-sited) or 500 staff (if single-sited) - proof will be requested ___4) Vendor must have documented previous experience in sustainability and recycling - proof will be requested ___5) Vendor must have already performed at least 2 documented "zero waste aim" initiatives in a large organization - proof will be requested ___6) Vendor will have to show evidence of waste management capacity (including manpower and equipment) - proof will be requested ___7) Vendor must be available to attend a site visit at the International Criminal Court (date TBC) ___The detailed scope of work will be given under the Request for Proposal document that will be sent to the firms who respond to this EOI and emerge successfully from the evaluation against the selection criteria._________________________________________________________________________________________Interested firms/organizations should forward their Expression of Interest by facsimile or e-mail to the attention of Tender.5@icc-cpi.intInterested firms/organizations registered with the UN Global Marketplace, please indicate your vendor registration number.
