Description

East Suffolk District Council, West Suffolk Council, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council and Ipswich Borough Council are seeking to commission a combined Water Cycle Study. A Water Cycle Study is required to understand the water infrastructure requirements necessary to support growth options in the Local Plans and any implications for the water environment. The Stage 1 study will assess current and future water supply and waste-water capacity, with flood risk management, and drainage issues providing additional useful context. This will assess the broad planned growth in the region up to 2045, with some consideration of further growth up to 2050. Further analysis through Stage 2 will focus on the impact from specific sites/allocations.
