The Whitsunday Regional Council (Principal) is delivering the Whitsunday Regional Sports Precinct (WRSP) to address the increasing demand for high-quality sporting, recreation and community infrastructure across the Whitsunday Region. The WRSP is one of Council's most significant community infrastructure investments and will provide a contemporary regional sporting destination that supports organised sport, community participation, recreation, health and wellbeing, regional events and long-term population growth. The precinct has been planned to meet current community needs while providing a scalable framework for future expansion through subsequent stages of development.
