Description

D2.          SCOPE OF WORKD2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the reconstruction of existingpavement in the following areas surrounding the Fort Rouge Garage:(a)   Northwest of the garage outside the wash bay exit and service bay entrances, as identified inthe Drawings. Approximate reconstruction area is 2,000 sq.m.D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:(a)   Removal of existing asphalt and concrete pavements and curbs within the prescribed workareas.(b)   Excavation and placement of geotextile fabric, geogrid, sub-base material, and base coursematerial.(c)    Construction of 180 mm concrete pavements (reinforced) and concrete curbs.(d)   All work must be carried out per the Construction Staging Plan defined by the Consultant.D2.3        The funds available for this contract are $650,000.
