Winter service Abz Neuses Winter period 2026/2027

The subject of the present tender is the winter service at the Bamberg, Strullendorf locks and the Strullendorfer Bach, Seigenbach, Lindlesgraben and Deichselbach culverts (Lot 1), as well as the Forchheim and Hausen locks and the Neuses external district (Lot 2) on the Main-Danube Canal. To ensure safe access to the operating premises that is walkable and drivable, the areas, accesses, entrances, and stairs marked on the site plan must be cleared of snow and ice. This is to meet the requirements of traffic safety obligations for own and third-party personnel, as well as for shipping operators. The contractor is responsible for clearing and gritting the indicated areas in accordance with the attached site plans. The need for clearing and gritting will be communicated to the contractor by telephone via an on-duty shift manager of the Neuses control center. For this purpose, the contractor must provide the client with a telephone number at which the person responsible for the deployment service can be constantly reached. The objects must be cleared of snow and ice every day by 06:30. Priority is to be given to clearing the external district area and the Bamberg locks. Safety measures are to be repeated as often as necessary to prevent dangers to life, health, property, or possessions (= emergency cases) as ordered by the client. The clearing and gritting service must be carried out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of need.
