Wirtschaftsprüfung ZIF - Jahresabschlüsse 2026 - 2029

The Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF) gGmbH was founded in 2002 in close cooperation between the Federal Government and the Bundestag to strengthen German civilian capacities for international peace operations. The sole shareholder is the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Foreign Office. ZIF's task is to make a German contribution to strengthening international capacities for crisis prevention, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. ZIF implements this mandate through numerous services in training, human resources, policy, partnerships & innovation, among others. German civilian specialists and managers work in over 40 international peace operations worldwide. Due to the amendment of the Secondment Act in July 2017, ZIF is a seconding agency and employer for civilian experts in peace operations of the EU, OSCE, UN, and other host organizations. In addition, ZIF mediates several hundred election observers annually for EU and OSCE missions. --- Currently, about 80 employees work at ZIF in Berlin. --- In 2025, ZIF received a grant of EUR 7.4 million from the Federal Foreign Office, and project funds of approximately EUR 27.6 million were managed. --- ZIF does not maintain any taxable economic operations. --- The following services are to be provided: --- 1. Audit of the annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and notes) for the financial years 2026 to 2029, as well as the management report, in accordance with § 316 (1) HGB of a medium-sized capital company according to § 267 (2) HGB. --- 2. Audit according to § 53 HGrG (including the audit of the recipient report), and whether the declaration on the PCGK has been submitted and the Corporate Governance Report for the preceding five fiscal years has been published on the company's website. --- 3. Willingness to participate in the supervisory board meeting. --- 4. As part of the audit planning, appropriate audit focus areas are to be determined considering the risks and coordinated with the client. --- 5. The audit is to be conducted in accordance with the relevant IDW auditing standards of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany e. V. (IDW). The final report will be delivered to the client in electronic format with seal and signature, as well as in 3 copies in signed and bound paper form. --- 6. The audit mandate is to be issued annually by the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board makes a recommendation for the selection of the auditor(s) to the Shareholders' Meeting. The Shareholders' Meeting decides on the selection and appointment of the auditor(s). The auditor is nominated annually in the Supervisory Board meeting for the audit of the respective year. The respective issuance of the audit mandate is subject to this approval.
