Wmo Aids and Equipment

The municipality of Smallingerland intends to establish a new framework agreement with two (2) selected bidders, in accordance with the Social Support Act (Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning - Wmo). This agreement will cover the rental of newly supplied Wmo aids and equipment, along with the provision of related service support. This service support will apply to both the newly supplied items and all existing Wmo aids and equipment owned by the contracting authority. The procurement is based on an all-in monthly rental fee for new aids and equipment, which includes all associated service support. Additionally, an all-in monthly service fee will be applied for all existing aids and equipment owned by the contracting authority. The all-in rental fee for new aids and equipment must comprehensively ensure the supply of durable, high-quality, best-fitting, and cost-effective aids within the categories defined by the contracting authority, along with associated service support. The same level of service support must be provided for existing aids and equipment as for the rented ones. Both the supply and service support will be tailored to the individual circumstances, capabilities, and potential of clients, aiming to enhance their self-reliance, participation, and well-being, without providing more or more luxurious items than necessary. The supply and service delivery must meet the functional requirements set by the contracting authority. The indicative contract value is approximately €7,648,000 (excluding VAT) for a period of 8 contract years.
