The design should be visually sensitive to the surrounding memorial setting, using natural tones, sympathetic design approaches and equipment that complements the peaceful character of the site. The Council requires a subtle military or "Army-style" theme within at least one significant feature of equipment and welcomes consideration of a horse-themed roundabout or similar equipment as a reference to the historic Turners Merry-go-round.
