Contrat de sous-traitance pour la révision de la totalité des 2 x 2440 demi accouplements 56040424/RE et 56040425/RE AM08 (Desiro) par la société KWD qui est également le fournisseur de ces pièces. L’entretien complet nécessite une opération particulière que la SNCB n’est techniquement pas capable de réaliser, à cause d’un soufflet serti (cf justification reprise au document 430-02.96.05-011M - Révision des demi-accouplements KWD 1 De B-TC du 2/07/2025). La remise en état plutôt que le remplacement systématique représente une économie pouvant atteindre 3 millions d’euros.
