De verkeersveiligheid op de autosnel- en ringwegen (incl. toegangscomplexen en verkeerswisselaars) van de provincie Vlaams-Brabant verbeteren door het in hakhout zetten van beplantingen die een gevaar kunnen betekenen voor de weggebruiker. Zoals daar zijn: - Slechte zichtbaarheid in bochten door overgroeiing; - Slechte zichtbaarheid van verkeersborden en vangrails door overgroeiing; - Pechstroken waarvan het gabarit niet volledig is gevrijwaard door overgroeiing; - Vallende takken en bomen op de rijweg. 2. De ecologische functie van de beplantingen op de autosnel- en ringwegen (incl. toegangscomplexen en verkeerswisselaars) in Vlaams-Brabant een hogere natuurwaarde geven door het uitvoeren van beheerswerken aan deze beplantingen. Zoals bijvoorbeeld het aanbrengen van een grotere randlengte en een grotere verscheidenheid aan overgangssituaties door het realiseren van bijvoorbeeld zomen, open plekken, overgangen tussen struiken, lage en hoge bomen. Beschrijving der diensten De opdracht omvat hoofdzakelijk: ● Het dunnen van houtachtige gewassen; ● Het verjongen van houtachtige gewassen; ● Het snoeien en vellen van houtachtige gewassen; ● Beperkte (her)aanplantingswerken en het onderhoud van deze aanplantingen gedurende de waarborgtermijn; ● Het oprapen en verwijderen van zwerfvuil in de werkzone; ● Het plaatsen, instandhouden en verwijderen van alle reglementaire werfsignalisatie die nodig is voor de uitvoering van alle voormelde werken; ● Het verwijderen van alle afval dat afkomstig is van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden volgens de bepalingen van dit bestek.
