Execution of construction works consisting of the reconstruction of the tram traction section in 1 Maja Street in Elbląg, from Pl. Słowiański to Pl. Konstytucji

This tender concerns the execution of construction works for the reconstruction of a tram traction section located on 1 Maja Street in Elbląg, spanning from Słowiański Square to Konstytucji Square. The scope of works includes the reconstruction of 1 Maja Street itself between Krótka Street and Konstytucji Square, as well as the tram track on this same segment, including the installation of fencing. Key elements of the project involve the reconstruction of intersections at 1 Maja Street with Szpitalna Street and Godlewskiego Street, pedestrian crossings, and the construction of parking bays. Furthermore, the tender covers the reconstruction of drainage systems for the road and track infrastructure, gas networks, and the securing of water supply networks. Significant attention will be paid to the reconstruction and protection of power supply networks, and the modification of tram point control and heating systems. The project also includes the reconstruction of tram stop platforms, adjusting platform edge positioning, implementing linear drainage, and equipping them with shelters and photovoltaic panels. The scope extends to restoring road surfaces, including sidewalks and a bicycle path, and undertaking necessary technical infrastructure reconstructions due to conflicts with the road and track infrastructure. The project will conclude with the implementation of horizontal and vertical road markings according to the final traffic organization design, and the landscaping of roadside areas. This investment is co-financed by the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021-2027 program, specifically Action FEPW.03.01 Sustainable Urban Mobility, under grant application no. FEPW.03.01-IP.01-0002/25 titled 'Reconstruction and modernization of existing tram traction sections and purchase of tram rolling stock'.
