This tender concerns the development of chiropterological expertise required for the preparation of updated conservation action plans for Natura 2000 sites: Wzgórza Strzelińskie PLH020074. The scope of work includes several key stages. Firstly, the contractor will be responsible for developing a detailed schedule and methodology for fieldworks. This includes obtaining approval from the Contracting Authority, particularly if a methodology deviating from the State Environmental Monitoring (PMŚ GIOŚ) or specific population study methods (foraging, breeding, or migratory) is required. Secondly, field inventories will be conducted to assess the conservation status of the studied bat species. Thirdly, an evaluation of the conservation status of these species will be performed. Fourthly, comprehensive documentation of the inventories will be prepared. This documentation includes observation cards detailing actual and reference conservation status assessments, existing and potential threats, and proposed conservation measures, including monitoring. It also covers negative observation cards (if applicable), a research summary, spatial data in GIS format, and photographic documentation of the studied species. Fifthly, the contractor must participate in a maximum of two Local Cooperation Team meetings. Finally, the contractor will prepare a proposal for amendments to the Standard Data Form (SDF) for the site, including a revised SDF proposal. This project is crucial for the effective conservation of bat populations within the designated Natura 2000 area.
