Request for Quotation dated 29.07.2026 (Updated on 03.08.2026) for services related to mechanical metal processing aimed at producing elements with specific geometry

The subject of this Request for Quotation are services related to mechanical metal processing, in particular turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and other processing operations aimed at producing elements with specific geometry, in accordance with the technical documentation attached to the Request for Quotation. The services will be performed using material provided by the Ordering Party. The costs and risks of transporting the material to the place of execution of a given part of the order are borne by the Ordering Party. Detailed terms and deadline for material handover will be specified in the contract. Within the scope of the order, the contractor will perform mechanical processing of forgings to the geometry specified by the contractor in the given quantity according to the following list: a) Machining of a ring forging/blank made of aluminum EN AW 7075 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: outer diameter 1830 mm, inner diameter 1620 mm, height 180 mm quantity: 1 piece b) Machining of a ring forging/blank made of aluminum EN AW 7075 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: outer diameter 1650 mm, inner diameter 1430 mm, height 200 mm quantity: 1 piece c) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 145 mm, width 540 mm, height 95 mm quantity: 1 piece d) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 630 mm, width 1020 1100 mm, height 270 mm quantity: 2 pieces e) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 630 mm, width 1100 mm, height 270 mm quantity: 2 pieces f) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 630 mm, width 1200 mm, height 300 mm quantity: 2 pieces g) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 650 mm, width 920 1000 mm, height 200 mm quantity: 2 pieces h) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 600mm, width 750 mm, height 320 mm quantity: 1 piece i) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 600 mm, width 320 mm, height 270 mm quantity: 1 piece j) Machining of a ring forging/blank made of aluminum EN AW 7075 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: outer diameter length 1700 900 mm, inner diameter width 1350 1700 mm, height 320 mm quantity: 1 2 pieces k) Machining of a blank made of aluminum EN AW 6082 or equivalent, with initial material dimensions: length 820 mm, width 1650 mm, height 350 mm quantity: 2 pieces The initial geometry of the elements to be produced by mechanical processing is shown in Annex No. 3 to the request for quotation. The service will be carried out in close cooperation with the Ordering Party, in a phased model: Phase 1 - rough machining – dimensions and tolerances up to a value of no less than 6.35 mm of excess material to the final geometry Phase 2 - rough machining – dimensions and tolerances up to a value of no less than 2.05 mm of excess material to the final geometry Phase 3 - finishing machining to final geometry The phased model mentioned above applies to all parts of the subject of the order and all elements produced within a given part. Execution of the next phase is possible only after the Ordering Party accepts the correct execution of the previous phase. Due to the fact that the subject of the order concerns the production of prototype elements created within research and development work, during the execution of each part of the order, the Ordering Party will cooperate with the Contractor on an ongoing basis regarding the adopted design solutions. The Contractor is obliged to immediately inform the Ordering Party of any discrepancies, technical risks, or the need to introduce changes to the technical documentation. The arrangements mentioned above may consist in specifying the method of carrying out the works within the scope defined in the Request for Quotation and technical documentation and may occur at individual stages of execution. A detailed part of the description of the subject of the order - finishing dimensions and tolerances, additional processes, dimensions and technical characteristics of the initial material for processing - will be presented in the attachments, which, due to trade secrets, will be disclosed to potential offerors after signing a relevant confidentiality agreement, which is Annex No. 2 to this Request. These documents will be made available by the Ordering Party via email within 2 working days of receiving the signed Confidentiality Agreement via email (with a qualified electronic signature) or signed by hand in scanned form. The agreement must be completed and signed by a person authorized to represent the Offeror or possessing appropriate power of attorney. A power of attorney and/or an excerpt from the relevant register confirming the authorization to represent must be attached to the Confidentiality Agreement. The signed Confidentiality Agreement should be sent to the email address: jakub.karcz@geaerospace.com All information and documents made available by the Ordering Party in connection with this Request for Quotation may be used by the Offeror solely for the purposes of this quotation procedure.
