Waste collection and disposal in the municipality of Štrba

The subject of the contract is the provision of waste collection, transport, and disposal services for the contracting authority – the municipality of Štrba in the municipality of Štrba and in the parts of the municipality Tatranská Štrba and Štrbské Pleso in accordance with Act no. 79/2015 Coll. on waste and other generally binding legal regulations, and the provision of other activities resulting from the subject of the contract, or from the contract concluded with the successful bidder, all within the scope and under the conditions specified in this call and its annexes. The subject of the contract must also be carried out in accordance with the generally binding decree of the contracting authority on waste management and small construction waste in the municipality of Štrba, which is available at the web address below https://www.strba.sk/samosprava/vseobecne-zavazne-nariadenia/. Scope of activities: • In 14-day regular intervals – collection of municipal solid waste, and BRO from waste generators (from households and companies in the municipality) at the place of origin, collected in containers and volumes of 110 l, 120 l, 240 l and 1100 l containers and VOK and VKK, ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of the sites during handling of containers, cleaning of sites. Containers are owned by the contracting authority. • Collection of bulky waste and small construction waste from large-volume containers VOK and VKK upon order. • Weighing of each container • Transport of waste to the place of its recovery or disposal. • Disposal of municipal waste in a manner that does not endanger human health and does not harm the environment beyond the extent defined by law (incineration, landfilling, ...) • Collection and transport of waste in plastic bags • Cleaning of sites and communication routes • Preparation of waste records • Collection, transport, and recovery/disposal of separated components of municipal waste – hazardous waste, electrical waste, textiles, BRO, kitchen waste. Waste collection record system 1. Introduction of the record system: The provider undertakes, in agreement with the contracting authority, to introduce an electronic record system for the collection of mixed municipal waste (hereinafter referred to as the "record system") in the municipality of Štrba. The introduction of the record system means the installation of chips on the collection bins and the start of collection through electronic scanning of individual manipulations. 2. Scope and subject of the record: The provider is obliged to ensure electronic recording of all mixed municipal waste collection bins through automated electronic scanning of each executed collection (installation of chips on the bins). The record system must be able to identify the collection bin in real time and record the fact of the executed collection. Technical provision: A condition for the proper provision of this service is the integration of an electronic scanner directly into the mechanism of the collection vehicle (or vehicles) used for the service in the municipality of Štrba and an electronic chip into each bin. The provider is responsible for ensuring that the technical equipment of the vehicles is fully compatible with the aim of ensuring accurate, objective, and verifiable waste records according to the needs of the municipality. The successful bidder will take over the keys to the 1,100 l containers in Štrba and Tatranská Štrba and the master chip from the stations where the municipal waste and separated waste containers are located. In the event that specific products or manufacturers are mentioned in the tender documents, the bidder may use equivalent products that have the same or better technical parameters than required.
