Bakanausko gatvės atkarpos nuo Marvelės upelio iki Vakarinio lanksto, Kaune, detaliojo plano patvirtinimo“ patvirtino detalųjį planą (keičiamas detalusis planas, patvirtintas Kauno miesto savivaldybės tarybos 2002 m. liepos 18 d. sprendimu Nr. 259 „Dėl J. Bakanausko gatvės atkarpos nuo Marvelės upelio iki Vakarinio lanksto detaliojo plano patvirtinimo“), kuriuo suprojektuotas apie 19,8891 ha ploto kitos paskirties (naudojimo būdas – susiekimo ir inžinerinių tinklų koridorių teritorijos) žemės sklypas, skirtas Europos prospekto tęsiniui nuo Marvelės upelio iki Vakarinio lanksto (Teritorijų planavimo dokumento registracijos Nr. T00095238). Pagal Detaliojo plano sprendinius, visuomenės poreikiams paimami 45 žemės sklypai ar jų dalys, bendras paimamos žemės plotas – 17,2493 ha.
