Jedná se o nadlimitní veřejnou zakázku na stavební práce, zadávanou v jednacím řízení s uveřejněním podle § 60 odst. 1 písm. b) a c) a § 61 ZZVZ. Součástí plnění je návrh řešení metodou Design & Build. Vzhledem k havarijnímu stavu a částečnému zřícení střech, technické složitosti obnovy a památkové ochraně je nutné jednat zejména o konstrukčním a technologickém řešení zřícené části a jeho cenových a časových dopadech. Předmětem veřejné zakázky je obnova střech Žižkových kasáren v Terezíně metodou Design & Build, včetně obnovy zřícených částí, sanace krovů, střešního pláště a souvisejících konstrukcí v rozsahu technických podkladů tvořících Požadavky objednatele. Součástí plnění jsou zejména dotčené stropy, klenby, římsy a komíny, průzkumy, zaměření, projektování a inženýring, provizorní zajištění a všechny další práce a dodávky potřebné k řádnému dokončení vymezeného díla. Hromosvody a uzemnění budou provedeny na všech střechách, včetně části A; tato skutečnost nerozšiřuje obnovu krovu a střešního pláště na část A, která je z ní podle technických podkladů vyloučena.
