Zweckverband Wasserversorgungsgruppe Mühlbach - Award of construction services, trade "civil engineering, road construction and pipeline construction" for the supply lines HB-Zentral / Hüffenhardt, 2nd construction phase

The subject of this procedure is the award of construction services, trade "civil engineering, road construction and pipeline construction" for supply lines HB Central / Hüffenhardt, 2nd construction phase. The Zweckverband Wasserversorgungsgruppe Mühlbach plans, as part of the overall project "Supply Lines HB Central - Hüffenhardt", the construction of several water pipelines to connect the new HB Central elevated tank in Kälbertshausen and to ensure and redundantly secure the water supply in the central and southern parts of the supply area. The overall project will be implemented in construction phases. The subject of the present tender is the second construction phase. As part of the project, a continuous "pipeline route" (cycle path) is also to be created between Hüffenhardt and Kälbertshausen. The necessary civil engineering, road construction and pipeline construction services are the subject of the present tender and are planned along the route of the water pipelines. The overall construction measure is scheduled to take place between January 25, 2027, and March 15, 2028. The trade "civil engineering, road construction and pipeline construction" for the second construction phase of the overall project is being tendered. The tendered service includes, in overview, the following pipelines: - Supply line Ring Mitte: DN 500, approx. 3,650 m, - Supply line from Wasserwerk Mitte: DN 400, approx. 3,400 m, - Supply line for redundancy of the HB Hüffenhardt elevated tank: DN 300, approx. 3,400 m - Supply line Ring Mitte (branch): DN 300, approx. 300 m - Local network line: DN 200, approx. 670 m - Cable protection pipes - Control cables, approx. 4,000 m The supply line Ring Mitte (DN 500) begins at the handover point of the first construction phase, around 200 meters from the HB Zentral elevated tank, and runs in the direction of Hüffenhardt to the outskirts of Hüffenhardt; it takes over the superior water distribution within the central and southern supply ring. The supply line from Wasserwerk Mitte (DN 400) runs via the central distribution shaft before Hüffenhardt to the HB Hüffenhardt elevated tank and serves to supply the HB Zentral elevated tank from Wasserwerk Mitte or HB Hüffenhardt. The supply line for redundancy (DN 300) serves to redundantly secure the water supply and is also routed to the HB Hüffenhardt elevated tank. The supply line Ring Mitte (branch, DN 300) branches off from the DN 500 line in the central distribution shaft and ensures the connection of the Siegelsbach local network supply area and Wasserturm Bad Rappenau via an existing line. The local network line DN 200 starts at the HB Hüffenhardt elevated tank and will replace the existing DN 150 line in the future, which is currently laid over long distances on private properties. Cable protection pipes will also be laid along the entire route to enable the later installation of control, measuring, and communication lines. The bill of quantities and the plans are divided into two sections: firstly, the main route from HB Zentral (Stat. 0+000) to the valve shaft in Hüffenhardt (Stat. 3+290), and secondly, the bypass WT Hüffenhardt from HB Hüffenhardt (Stat. 0+000) via the valve shaft Hüffenhardt (Stat. 0+300) to the end of the route of the DN 500 line (Stat. 0+570). The tendered civil engineering, road construction and pipeline construction services include, according to the structure of the bill of quantities, in particular site setup and preparatory work, earthworks, installation of shafts, surface restoration, dewatering, as well as the supply and installation of pipes and fittings (GGG), installation of valves and fittings, pressure testing and disinfection of the GGG pipelines, and road crossings using closed construction methods (pipe jacking). In addition, the tender includes civil engineering and road construction work for the "pipeline route" between Hüffenhardt and Kälbertshausen. Further information can be found in the attached bill of quantities and appendices (Appendix 2). Upon conclusion of the contract, the contract attached as Appendix 3 will come into effect.
