Tennant Creek - Collection and Organisation of Water and Sewer Samples for Quality and Compliance Analysis for a Period of 36 Months
Description
Power and Water Corporation (PWC) is licensed under the Water Supply and Sewerage Services Act to provide water supply and sewerage services to the people of the Northern Territory. In Tennant Creek, Water Services South provide these services. To ensure the effectiveness of treatment processes and verify the quality of water delivered to consumers monitoring of potable water, non-potable water and wastewater is required.
PWCโs Water Systems and Quality and Performance Reporting and Improvement Groups are responsible for preparation of CONTROL0404 Drinking Water Quality and CONTROL0420 Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Quality Monitoring Programs.
Due to limited resources in Tennant Creek, and the specific skills required, Water Services South requires a Supplier to collect the water samples required by both monitoring programs.
The main objective it is to independently collect water and sewer samples as instructed by the Power and Water Corporation (PWC) based on CONTROL0404 Drinking Water Quality and CONTROL0420 Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Quality Monitoring Programs, which have been developed according to requirements of quality control and quality assurance principles, as well as those requirements in groundwater extraction, waste discharge and aquifer recharge licenses.
