The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (DETE) is seeking experts to undertake an independent review and update of the Economic Appraisal Model for projects supported by the Enterprise Development Agencies in Ireland. The Economic Appraisal Model (EAM) is a Cost-Benefit Analysis model used in the grant decision making process for projects supported by Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland. The model calculates the costs and benefits of a project where it is proposed to provide support. The Economic Appraisal Model is an essential element of the overall system of appraisal for investment in projects.
